We’ve just completed our third project with Izzy and the team at Urban Exteriors, and once again, the results are outstanding. They’re true professionals with exceptional attention to detail, and they were happy to offer thoughtful suggestions to ensure the final outcome was exactly what we envisioned. On top of that, they’re genuinely lovely people — easy to talk to, respectful, and a pleasure to have around. From the very first conversation, I felt completely comfortable discussing our ideas with Izzy. He provided a clear, reasonable quote promptly, and the work began quickly. Each project has run smoothly from start to finish — no delays, no hassles. The team are punctual, efficient, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship on schedule.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Urban Exteriors to anyone looking for quality work, great value, and a team you’ll actually enjoy working with. We’re already thinking about our next project with them!

Izzy and the team at Urban Exteriors were excellent from start to finish and I want to share my experience with others. We contracted them to build an enclosed patio with retractable fly screens. They were punctual in coming out to measure and their quote was competitive and undercut other local quotes we received - despite using superior products - so first impressions were very good. The team was very efficient with the build and even managed to squeeze us in before Christmas, which I really appreciated as we could use the space for the holiday. The team was professional throughout, very attentive to small details like cutting custom sized sheeting to cover small gaps with the house, weather sealing to make sure the space is watertight and cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day.My wife and I are absolutely amazed with the final build, which looks fantastic and has clearly been built to last. We’re spending more time in the backyard now and with the retractable screens, the space can be used year-round.Thank you again to the Urban Exteriors for an amazing job!

Izzy really understood our requirements and concerns and made the whole design and contract process smooth and effortless for us. Paul led an outstanding team to deliver a beautiful patio/pergola, meeting and exceeding our expectations. In my opinion, Paul represents the best in craftsmanship and dedication to the trades. He and the team really took pride in their work.Warren the electrician and Deb from admin also did a fantastic job. Absolutely recommend Urban Exteriors to anyone wanting to build a pergola/patio/deck/veranda (never sure how to call these structures properly ). Looking forward to many years of enjoying our pergola.

We hired Urban Exteriors to build our Pergola near our pool. They were substantially less expensive than other builders but did a great job on it. It looks tremendous now and adds substantially to our garden. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a Pergola or other outside building. Ray Camrass Mount Colah

Jack, Paul and Connor were a pleasure to deal with, extremely efficient, polite and did an excellent job of the pergola. Not sure why google asked me for review after years. The deck they built is quite good. Most staffs were very nice. There is only one worker (or their contractor) who is very rude. He is a little fat and with big tattoos. He asked for coffee for all staffs from me everyday, or he won't start the day's work. I had to make several cups of coffee for them every morning. If you really want to build with them, just make sure they don't send that fat tatoo guy and no coffee every day.

Izzy and his team are professionals and the workmanship quality is superb. At the beginning of our project we worked closely with Izzy to build out a plan for our alfresco, after a few iterations we then made the decision to go ahead and we are extremely happy with the finished result to our alfresco. I would highly recommend Izzy and the team for any outdoor building needs.

The sales process, initially started without a site visit due to restrictions was easy and Izzy provided a very competitive quote. The build team of Paul and Jack did a great job and cleared up every day. The end result is great and a massive improvement. Also good was having one contact for pergola and glass fencing. Just waiting for my electrician to finish the downlights.

Our new pergola was recently installed by Urban Exteriors and looks fantastic! The workers were polite, efficient, happy to answer any questions and best of all they cleaned up the area at the end of each work day. Izzy, Gary, Adrian and all of the staff behind the scenes made phone and email contact easy throughout the entire process….. even with the latest COVID lockdown just before work began and restrictions throughout. Our old deck roof leaked and this one is keeping us dry with the bonus of being the envy of the neighbourhood….. we are glad that we chose Urban Exteriors!!

Urban Exteriors recently completed an insulated pergola over my spotted gum deck. The whole process from the time I engaged Izzy in the quotation to the completion of the job was an absolute pleasure. Izzy was in regular communication with me through the whole process and his team completed the job in 3 days without any problems. I can highly recommend Izzy and his team for their quality of workmanship and the attention to detail.Thank you Izzy for the excellent job.

We're over the moon with how Izzy & the boys took our dream, and made it a reality. Our job was unusual (converting an oversized yet unapproved leaking pergola & deck area into an inside/outside rumpus room with alfresco) with limited access to the space - the end result is over & above what we ever thought would be possible. The boys onsite were clean, courteous and friendly. Deb in the office was terrific with working through our issues (mainly council issues) and Izzy was always just a phone call away and happy to answer any questions we had. Thanks again - bring on Summer 21/22!

Had my Outdoor entertaining area completely redone by Urban Exteriors. From the quote process, right through it was smooth. Great company with excellent tradies who were considerate, receptive to feedback, and sought out my opinion on the finer details to ensure we got what we wanted. At the end of each day they cleaned up the areas and left things in a tidy state (as tidy as an reno can be). Really happy with the outcome and thought it was great value for money for the end result. Would highly recommend using them

Shared my experience in my early review where I felt disappointed with them. I have had discussed it with Izzy and he helped me out to complete where left behind. It appears Gary is not well so it is understandable where being short. Thanks Izzy for understanding and helping me. He is truely passionate about his business and customers. I see that is true value where Urban Exterior stays strong in their business.

I’ll start off by talking about Urban Exteriors as a group of people with a customer centric focus. From the very first phone call to state our requirements in terms of the project and time schedule I was being listened to. That’s right, attention was being paid to understand the requirements & situation rather than being told “this is what we will do”. Over time this transformed into Urban Exteriors virtually taking on “ownership” of our problem and making recommendations, as they obviously have more experience than us in what was needed. YES! The most practical example was how proactive they were through the process and most importantly THEIR initiation of communication.Moving onto the quality of the workmanship, at the end of the 8-10 man day project, other than having a much better looking house from the outside & a full skip bin, you would not know that construction had taken place. From a quality control perspective, once everything was packed up and cleaned, even though it was late on a Saturday afternoon, the lead man did a trained eye scan then proceeded to make right some missed screws before leaving. That is professionalism in action. When my wife and daughter make comments about the guys on the job being considerate, polite & respectful, that speaks volumes to me.Urban Exteriors set the expectations, they delivered as set and exceeded our expectations.Okay, there has got to be something wrong; our dogs each found a decking spacer among the fern garden under the new decking. So they missed a couple :-)

“I contacted Urban Exteriors earlier this year to quote on replacing polycarbonate sheeting in our pergola that was damaged in a hail storm. It was difficult to get contractors to quote on this smaller job but Urban Exteriors were happy to take the job on and were extremely professional and communicative throughout. They also suggested some minor alterations to the existing pergola to ensure the new sheets fitted perfectly which was appreciated, and they worked efficiently and kept the site tidy. I would have no hesitation in using Urban Exteriors again for another project.” Fiona
